Great nintendo wii Pamplets

video-games Great nintendo wii Pamplets

Purchased this game a while ago. There are lots of interesting games in it. We all had fun trying to learn the various games. Each game comes with a high score Hall of Fame as well as each individual player gets to earn stamps unique to each game. The most popular game was the airplane flying. The whole family became addicted to that one trying to complete all of the levels and acquire all of the stamps. The airplane dog fights are a lot of fun regardless of whether you could actually do the moves in a real airplane. Frisbee golf is enjoyable although it’s not quite like the real thing. However, it is fun and will keep us “in shape?” during the winter. The basketball 3 point shooting game is another one we play often. The archery game is challenging especially finding all of the “secret” targets (we went on line to locate them, but you still need to hit them to earn the stamp). Lots of laughs as you learn each games. Popping wheelies on the bicycle racing, hitting the ducks in the canoeing, overall lots of fun. It may get old after a year or so, but so far, we are still playing it 6 months later.
Help answer the question about nintendo wii
Is there any accessory for the Nintendo Wii to connect a SNES controller?
I don't like the nintendo wii classic controller because it eats batteries. I'd rather have a long corded SNES controller. Does anyone know of any way of connecting a SNES controller to the Nintendo Wii?

I have been excited about this game for quite some time now. I loved Super Mario World for the SNES and Mario Galaxy for WII, but this game was quite the dissapointment. The game is beaten easier than III and World. Its is a kind of strange hybrid between III the two. The bosses are just glorified Mario III bosses, there is really no structural difference. Why cant the characters actually fly?!? One of the great aspects of all Marios since III is this ability to fly into new, unexpected places. The gameplay is marred by the incorporation of silly contortions with the wii remote, by either shaking the wii remote or tilting, leading to some extremely BORING gameplay. I am not just being negative, this is actually the first negative review I have ever given on amazon, you should really rent this game if you have the itch. DONT PAY $50 like I did.

On the positive side, Bowser is pretty fun to beat. That took me a few tries.

I just couldn’t wait to get this game and when I finally got it. I instantly fell in love with it the concept is beautiful the gameplay is on point. I love the new power-ups like the Ice Flower, The Propeller Mushroom and The Mini Mushroom. This feels like a hybrid between Mario 3 and Mario 64. Yeah it’s typical rescue the Princess but with a new feature such as Co-op yes Co-op, no longer do you have to wait for whoever you’re playing to lose a life you can get in on the action as team of up to four, helping and fighting for a common goal. This will definitely go down as one the best Wii games and I would definitely recommend this game to any Wii owner. My ratings are GAMEPLAY 5stars, STORYLINES 5stars, CO-OP 5stars, NEW FEATURES and POWER UPs 5stars NEW SUPER MARIO BROS. WII 5stars

Grew up with earlier Mario games and loved them. This new one is very similar with just enough new tricks to update it, so you can jump right in and play with no learning curve. Still has the frustrating requirement to reach a certain point in each world before you can save the game, so if you lose after conquering 3 worlds you go back to the beginning. The controller must be held horizontally which was a little awkward at first. Best to play without the nunchuck since attaching this changes the functions of the buttons. All in all a good game, not quite up to Super Mario Galaxy.

My son is 14 and my daughter 15, and they have both enjoyed the game VERY much (as well as my husband, who has enjoyed playing with them).

We originally borrowed this game from my sister when we first got our Wii. My son would ask to play it at least 10 times a day. We finally had to go buy our own as he did not want to give the one we borrowed back. We enjoy racing eachother, playing against others via the internet & solo racing for trophies. You can also unlock new people, cars, & bikes by winning races or increasing your ranking on races. We do prefer the nunchuck instead of the remote or the wheel as it is easier to steer with the nunchuck.
Lots of fun for the whole family!

      Quigley January 29, 2010 at 1:45 am

This is the best game ever because, first, you get the fun of trying out all the neat courses and you get to unlock a bunch of fun characters, courses and vehicles. Once you master all of the intended courses, then there is a world of tips and tricks you can discover and lots of shortcuts to improve your game score. You can also connect on WiFi and challenge all the champions in the world!

I have never been big into the gaming systems and such but my husband loves games. We got the Wii because I love mario games, always have. We picked up Mario Kart and my 2 year old loves this game. I wasn’t sure I wanted him playing games, especially at such an early age but he has learned coordination from this game and knows how to use the wheel better than I do. He would play all day if I would let him. We usually limit him to an hour a day or less. He can keep the car on the road and has won 1st place several times. A must if you own the Wii.

Mario Cart Wii is the next version of one of Nintendo’s most successful and iconic video games, but this version takes the game to a whole new level. In addition to improved graphics, more tracks, and more character options (including your Mii), this game also allows online play. Friends can meet up and set up a “private room” where they race each other, or you can race with players around the world. I have enjoyed this feature the most. Every Tuesday night I meet up with 12 friends to race each other and it’s a blast to knock your best friend off their cart so you can win the race. Very Fun!

I can’t recommend this game enough for any Nintendo Wii owner. Sure the basic concept of Mario Cart is still the same, but the enhancements for the Wii version make it worth the price. Although the Wii Wheel is not required to play the game I think it’s worth the extra few dollars for the fun of it.

I’ve been always a fan of the Mario Kart series. The game is as entertaining as I expected. The option to play online is very cool.

Minor lacks: No way to do a “Grand Prix” in multiplayer mode, and the fact that on online playing only one player is awarded with points while the other is only considered a guest.

      Still, absolutely recommended.

We have had our Wii for a couple years now and really enjoy it. While it is not the strongest system out there, it definetly is a lot of fun. Family and Friends who normally have no interest in gaming at all will pick up and play games with us for a bit on this system. NEVER happened with any other system.

We have also started picking up some of the workout games and I really enjoy that. Who need to watch tv while you work out when you can just interact with a work out game.

We had an original model that ended up being defective after about 7 months (all of the games started freezing up), the process to ship to Nintendo and get a new one was quick and painless.

The recent price cuts and deals make this system even more valuable. Yes, it does not have all of the top of the line graphics and some games, but you do not need that for every system you own. We are PC gamers who supplement with goofy fun on our wii. With games like Wii Sports, Zelda, Mario Party 8, EA Active and more, kids, parents and even grandparents can find these games fun!

I just purchased this unit last night for my wife. The Wii Sports package on 12/3/09. We are both loving it. Its fun, entertaining, and you work up a sweat. If you bother to read the 1 stars, they are just idiots. This system was not meant to be put up against X-Box 360 or the PS3. If they have done their research, they would of known better. I also own the PS3 and strictly use it for blu-ray movies and few games.

As for the Nintendo Wii. It is fun, fun, fun. The package I purchased came with Wii sports which include Tennis, Boxing, Bowling, Golf, Baseball. And Mario Super Sluggers, with an extra controller and nun-chuck.

The resolution on the system is 480i/480p. (not a high def unit)
Does not play Blu-Rays nor DVDs. (again, not going up against X-Box / PS3)
Unit is very small and comes with a vertical stand.
Small sensor bar that either placed above or below the tv, to read the controllers.
      A/V composite cables, (red,white,yellow)
      plug in adapter

My advice, check out the other reviews, and research. This system is meant to have fun. For all ages. My wife has rheumatoid arthritis, and she can use this.
