Okay, so it came very quickly. The only down-side i had was i had to order twice since a carrier (No fault of Amazon) couldnt “find” my address. But i called Amazon, and they got that cleared up and sent to me very fast. Once it came i spent an entire weekend building it. It looks gorgeous and is only for those with experience building gundams. I have built several and this presented me with a challenge or two building it. First major challenge was the wiring. it tells you certain lengths to cut then shave down to bare wire. cut exactly how much wire they tell you, with maybe 2mm extra in case you’re like me and need to expose the wire multiple times for re-wiring. Pay attention to the color of the wire shown in the instructions, yes it does matter. Also, it didn’t come with the batteries, but those were easily found and purchased at a local jeweler/watch shop. Also have some glue handy, as some of the snap in parts don’t snap in and stay perfectly. Once it was done, i was very proud of myself. the level of detail is unreal. it’s a little wing-heavy once you try to pose, so i would get a wide stand, with multiple arms if you can find it. But this is the best gundam i have ever, and well worth every penny.

After 5 long years I decided to build another gundam model. In 5 years the quality of the models have improved a lot. The joints and posability are the first thing I noticed were much better.I recommend painting models to bring out the full articulation and colors of the model but it isn’t necessary. It took a couple hours to put together, very fun tho!

This should be one of the best non-grade 1/100 model kit of Bandai. For me its exact grade is HG or maybe more. Model parts have really good molding and great detail overall. With its good articulation and poseability, you can spend hours with playing for cool poses. It’s quality is getting close to MG features for a cheap price.

It’s a High Grade Garage Kit, but with so many details that looks like a Master Grade with a High Grade price!

If you’re looking into the Gundam 00 series, don’t miss the Exia. It has excellent articulation, a shield, and quite a few varieties of sword. Plus, at only $25, this is a steal!

You do know you hand the wrong picture. While the dispriction talks about the XXXG-00W0 Wing Gundam Zero, the pic it shows is a AMSiA Gat-X105 Strike Gundam (although it’s a neat looking figure, and I’d love to get my hands on one, hell…I’ll just find the G-Weapons in that format!)

While pretty to look at, the overall rating of this kit is below average. I’ll list the pros and cons:

      Pro:
      - great design (one of the best looking gundam around imo), detailed,
      - many, many parts and very fun to build,
      - flexible joints, can create many poses (including some weird ones),
      - 1/60 scale makes it a huge robot.

      Cons:
      - poor quality, not sturdy. parts keep falling off, including the joints and the wings,
      - overly priced at $170
      - will NOT stand on its own unless using the wings as 3rd or 4th leg!
      - does not come with stand,
      - don’t expect to play with it when you finished building it, unless you plan on super gluing the loose pieces.

In a nutshell, this kit looks extremely pretty in the pics but irl it’s pretty crappy. Don’t get it unless you are a fanboy of the series and/or have too much money to burn.

The order process was simple as usual, and the affiliated Amazon seller was professional, and fast on the delivery. It arrived well-packed and undamaged. Only unusual thing was this kit arrived without it’s outer plastic shrink wrap around the box, like previous Gundam models I’ve bought on Amazon. A return? Seller opened it to inspect it? It took away from its ‘newness’ as a birthday present for my 12 y.o. nephew.
He loved the Gundam, building it, admiring it, it’s impressive.
Needless to say, it was a big hit. And a happy ending for all.
I wouldn’t hesitate to order again. Just keep the prices competitive.

what the big problem is this kit is simply bad. OK its nice to have it painted for us. however the bad packing will scratch and destroy the paint job making the Kit well dead. ther is no service of Bandai Japan. becuase they abuse the USA market. Constituion right. Japan dose not have the freedom of rights to abuse consumers. I had to waste money on two kits that I got from a local dealer where I do live at.
your are going to have lots and lots and lots and lots of scratches and skuff marks and what ever. every branch is in black will be scrathced up.
its due to bad packing. and bounsing and shuffing in shipping.
the only way is to sand off the entire paint off and repaint it again. if your willing to do the work. however you will loose the special effect form Bandai’s paint job.
What bandai Japan should pack it. one branch in one bag. Not 3 branches in one bag. lets go with my idea. put one branch in one bag. then put foam sheets below and above the bag. then repeat that for each branch. of cource it will add cost to the kit. however you will not be getting any scrachtes.
other problems painted parts wehn removed from the branch will leave one hell of a mark. youtr best best is sand it down and redo the entire paint job from scratch.
      the decals stink. its paper.
it will look guly and it will fall off.
its a great looking item. its something I realy wanted ot get. however Bandai manifactor and bandai service stinks. I do think this kit should be pulled off the market. bandai Japan and bandai USA should close there business untill they figer it out how to fix consumer complaints that dose not attack angry consumers. I hobe bandai Japan dose not care for consuemrs in the wrold only in Japan. I want to go to japan and though the boot on the persion’s head. BOOT TO THE HEAD

As my favorite mecha in the Gundam 00 anime series, this Kyrios model did not disappoint. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, and the model itself snaps together without glue or much hassle (especially for a newbie like me). It also comes with a full array of accessories: the GN rifle, arm shield with GN sword, beam sabers with beams, and two snap-on mounting posts (one for mech mode, one for flight). The model itself is highly detailed and accurate, which is definitely worth highlighting with a touch of paint (or Sharpie, in my case). Transforming it from mech mode to flight mode isn’t difficult once you get the hang of it.

The model does have its downsides though. It can’t do a wide variety of battle poses in mech mode, mostly because the black-grey forward fuselage for flight mode has to be flipped over the back of the figure and sticks so far out that the center of gravity is thrown off – but that’s more a fault of the mech’s original design than the model. Furthermore, the feet don’t have the greatest range of motion (because they have to transform) so stabilizing the mech is a very tricky and somewhat delicate matter. The model also isn’t the sturdiest thing in the universe (minor accessory pieces do fall off if you fiddle with it a lot), but it’s still an excellent kit.

Overall, I am not disappointed in this kit. My favorite Gundam is easily my favorite model. Because of the balance issues, I do highly recommend a stand to display it: Gundam Action Display Base Stand (Black). Plus, it looks awesome mounted in flight mode and taking off from your shelf. (And awfully tempting to pick it up and fly it around the room.)

A definite must-have for any Celestial Being armada!

      Vaughn February 19, 2010 at 6:41 am

Gundam Kyrios is simply and amazing model. The gundam can easily change form it gundam robot mode into its jet mode. The transformation is very easy and it dramatically extends the length of the whole model. Pose-ability is great because the shoulders, legs, and arms all have to twist and bend to achieve the flight form, which translates into a greater range of motion compared to gundams which do not change at all. Coloring is spot on, and the head of the gundam is fairly large compared to other 1/100. IMHO the helmet design(shape of yellow v, yellow top fin, face mask, and circular ears)looks better than all the other Gundam 00 mechs, even the 00 Raiser 1/100 which poses next to him). I highly recommend getting the stand for any pose imaginable. This model took me about 2 hours to cut and create, so its construction is well planned.

      Divine February 19, 2010 at 8:04 am

This is my first of the 4 “Hero” gundams from 00. I think I messed up by building my favotire first now I will be disapointed by the rest. ;)

In all seriousness though it is a very good kit, definately will need painting to bring out the best in it but for a non MG kit I could not be happier.

      Simis February 19, 2010 at 9:04 am

I just got this Gundam and I really love it. It’s fun to build and pose, plus it comes with two beam swords, a gun, and a shield. On top of that, it can transform into a flight mode. There’s nowhere to store the blades of the swords, but that is expected from a Gundam these days. Highly detailed, high posable, and highly recommended!

      Ketcham February 19, 2010 at 9:51 am

Even if you’re not a follower of the series “Mobile Suit Gundam 00″, you’ll find that Gundam Kyrios is an excellent addition to your models. The additional joints allow for a range of poses that vastly outdoes older models (for example, the High-Grade Endless Waltz 1:100 Model sets) and leaves you with a warm, tingly feeling when it’s done.

A word of warning- will require at least four hours for completion. If time is no concern, do it in one sitting- you’ll enjoy every minute.

      Harrington February 19, 2010 at 11:09 am

bought this for my grand-son. he loved it. there was a slight problem with the gundam; contacted the seller; quick response and the problem was solved.
