We bought this for my son’s first birthday and now two years later he still plays with it daily! I had a similar ride on for him, the Winnie the Pooh airplane and he actually flipped over the front on several occasions. Not a problem with this one which is so well balanced. Highly recommended!

I chose this toy for the economical price and because it has room directly below the handle for my son to walk. Other walking toys don’t have adequate space for walking feet and legs. It has enough extras to be interesting for my 10 month old and works well on both carpet and hard floors. We started on the carpet until he go the hang of it. He now trots around on the hard floors with ease. It’s also light enough so he can pull it back from the wall and change directions. I also like that dual functionality for walking and riding, extends the life of the toy.
We learned quickly that this goes fast on hardwood floors. My niece is still not able to walk much without leaning on things so I thought this would be great. Instead she leaned on it and it scooted away from her. We put it on the carpet and she was good to go. She loves it, especially when we push her around on it.
I love this toy. Its affordable and durable. My child plays with it all the time.
The fun parts of the toy are the clicky toys on it and the trunk.
It’s not good for a new walker because it pushes too easily and runs away from the slowly walking kid, who then falls.
It’s not good for riding because the back wheels stick out too far. The kid’s feet hit/get run over by the back wheels. My kid can only get it to go backwards. Older kids can ride it, but it’s pretty low to the ground for them.
We’ve had it 3 years and it’s durable. Nothing’s broken off and the locking mechanism between walker/rider function is still reliable. My 1st kid never cared, but now that the 2nd really wants to ride it I’m going to buy a different one.
This makes a decent walk-behind toy, but it’s pretty bad as a ride-on toy. The rear wheels are set further apart than the front wheels. This design makes it easy for the child to walk behind and not trip over the wheels, but it makes it difficult for the child to keep their feet clear of the rear wheels in ride-on mode. If you’re looking for something that’s truly dual-purpose, look elsewhere. Also, not the most important thing to consider, but it’s really ugly. Unless you live at the circus, this thing will stick out like…well, like an ugly piece of plastic. If everything else was top-notch, I could overlook the vomit-inspired color scheme, but there are many better-looking options out there that probably work as well or better than this.
I purchased The Inchworm as a birthday gift for my soon-to-be three year old granddaughter, per her request. There was very little assembly for this item. After reading another review that The Inchworm was difficult to ride, even for an older child, a suggestion was made to slightly tighten the wheels. We did as suggested and it was perfect for her to ride, as well as other children at the b-day party. It’s a great exercise activity for children and lots of fun. I have always had good luck with Radio Flyer items that I have purchased for my grandchildren. This item was no exception.
It took no time at all to put it together and the boys were motoring around in no time. This one was a winner.
My 2 and 4 year old can’t even make this worm move. I sat on it and tried to make it bounce and go. No luck! My two year old took it to the top of our steep driveway and it would not go down with her on it. Does not roll backwards and really needs someone to push the child who is riding it. Not a fun toy!
I recently ordered two Radio Flyer InchWorm riding toys for two little granddaughters! Their Mother had one when she was little and we can hardly wait for the girls to “hop on and ride away”. THanks Amazon for making them affordable. had searched the internet for hours looking for a price so
I could buy two.

My Grandaughter loves her new toy and rides it thrugh the house, daily. She has many hours of fun with it
My daughter received this as a Christmas gift last year when she was about to turn one…She was too little then to really be interested in it for more than sitting purposes. But once she started scooting around with it a few months later, we had a bit of an incident. She was crossing over from the tile floor to the hardwood, and just as the two front wheels hit the seam in the floor, WHAM! The whole thing flipped forward with her face bearing the brunt of the fall. So one busted lip later and luckily with all of her teeth still intact, I really don’t recommend this toy. It is just a little unstable for my taste.
This was a present for my granddaughter. I gave it to her at about 9 months for her to grow into. She and my son had a good time playing with it even when she was so young–my son held her on it and moved it around. As she has gotten older, larger, and capable of walking she has learned how to get on it and move it around herself, or stand up and push it by the “ears”. It was well worth the price for the enjoyment gained.
My son got this cute little giraffe for his first birthday. It’s cute, really lightweight, durable, and stable. He really liked the toy and really wanted to play on it, but everytime he tried his heels would get pinched by the frame that connects the back tire. The tire is so wide that his legs couldn’t straddle it. We tried both height adjustments, but it didn’t help. Then we gave it too a friend thinking my son’s short legs were the problem. Her son is a completely different build and his long legs still didn’t keep his heels from getting pinched. It’s too bad, cause my son really did want to play on this toy.
